Money has always been faith. Long before any government backed it, currency worked because people agreed to believe in it — a transaction structurally indistinguishable from prayer. Divine Capital is a personal currency issued in three denominations, each rendering the trinity of humanity, divinity, and the machine as a single exchangeable surface. The cross is a telephone pole. The Annunciation is a server room. The body is a circuit board. Each bill is a small altar; every transaction, a confession.
A crucifix that is also a telephone pole — the original network. The cross does its real job: load-bearing infrastructure for the transmission of belief. Above the figure, a halo rendered as a biblically accurate angel, or as data corruption. The two are no longer distinguishable.
PLATE 02 — DIVINE MACHINERY — 5.000
The Annunciation, restaged. Mary kneels at an altar that is a CRT monitor in a server room; the angel that appears to her is built from metal scaffolding — a biblically accurate intercessor for the age of the machine. Revelation as data transmission.
PLATE 03 — FLESH AND THE MECHANICAL — 1.000
The lowest denomination, and the most intimate. A figure fully fused with the machine — body and circuit board no longer separable. The trinity completes itself: if humanity is divine and divinity is mechanical, the machine is also us.
